Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate

Offered to Kootenai Electric Cooperative residential customers.

Before you get started

  • Contact a licensed electrician to ensure your electric service can accommodate an EV Charger.
  • Purchase a brand new 240-volt Level 2 EV Charger for installation in your home.
  • Take a photo of the installed charger connected to your EV, to be uploaded in the rebate form below.
  • Your charger receipt/invoice is required.
  • If your new charger was supplied by the contractor performing your installation, the product must be itemized with brand, model, and cost on the electrician’s invoice.

Rebate: $350

Rebate will not exceed 100% of product cost.

Set it and forget it

KEC encourages members to selectively charge their EV during non-peak hours between 10 pm and 5 am. Non-peak charging benefits KEC members by spreading out the cooperative’s electric load over time, which reduces the need for costly system upgrades.

Please allow 8 to 10 weeks after receipt of all required documentation for rebate checks to be issued.
