Lodi Commercial Electric Vehicle Charger Rebates

The following rebates are available to Lodi Electric Utility commercial and non-residential customers, subject to availability of funds. Offers may be changed or discontinued at any time. See application form below. Complete information and documentation is required to process rebate(s).

Other incentives for energy efficiency upgrades are available.

AMOUNTS & REQUIREMENTS

Applications must be submitted within six months of installation or purchase date.

Rebates will not exceed 100% of cost.

Rebate: $3,000

Offered for the purchase of a new 240-volt Level 2 EV charging station for public use at a business or workplace.

Requirements

Level 2 Charger must have UL or ETL certification.
Internal fleet charging stations do not have to be for public use to qualify.
A charger with multiple ports (or plugs) is considered one unit, eligible for a single rebate.
Must be mounted as a station and not portable.
Charger cannot be used, resold, rebuilt, or received from warranty insurance claims.
Rebate limited to one charger per site.

Rebate: $3,000

Offered on licensed electrician’s permitted installation of a qualifying Level 2 EV Charger for public use at a business or workplace.

Requirements

Applicant must have authority to direct and install.
Installation must be performed by an electrician with a valid California C-10 license.
Project must receive an approved Building Permit from City of Lodi.
Limit one certified installation rebate per site.

Rebate: $4,000

Offered for the purchase of a new DC Fast Charging Station for public use at a business or workplace, or for multifamily housing use.

Requirements

DC Fast Charger must have UL or ETL certification.
Internal fleet charging stations do not have to be for public use to qualify.
Multifamily installations must have a minimum of five (5) living units.
Equipment that is resold, rebuilt, received from warranty insurance claims, third party-owned, or awarded as a prize or grant is not eligible.

Rebate: $4,000

Offered on licensed electrician’s permitted installation of a qualifying DC Fast Charging Station for public use at a business or workplace, or for multifamily housing use.

For the installation rebate, a final invoice from the licensed electrician is required. An estimate, bid, contract, or agreement is insufficient on its own, unless it is accompanied by a dated, paid receipt showing work completed as proposed.
