Offered to Ukiah Electric Utility (UEU) residential customers with an active UEU account for the purchase and installation of a new, qualified Central Air Conditioner or Ductless Mini-Split Air Conditioner.
This application should be submitted within six (6) months of the purchase or installation date.
Rebates are limited to 100% of total project cost.
Rebate Amounts
Central Air Conditioner:
$75 per ton
*Minimum 16 SEER and 13 EER (equivalent to 15.3 SEER2 and 12.5 EER2)
$100 per ton
*Minimum 17 SEER and 13.3 EER (equivalent to 16.2 SEER2 and 12.8 EER2)
Ductless Mini/Multi-split Air Conditioner:
$100 per ton
*Minimum 16 SEER and 13 EER (equivalent to 15.3 SEER2 and 12.5 EER2)
*Equipment must be new and certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Equipment tonnage is calculated using the cooling capacity listed on the AHRI certificate. Divide cooling capacity by 12,000 (1 ton = 12,000 Btuh), the result is not rounded. Example: AHRI cooling capacity 34,500/12,000 = 2.87-ton unit.
Paid as a check sent to the customer’s mailing address.
Allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive the rebate, if all qualifications are met.
